Last night was class #7 out of 9.... Back in January when we started these classes, it seemed like it would never get here... Now, we are just 2 weeks away from them being done. We have learned a lot in these classes.... The different speakers have opened our eyes and hearts to things we never thought about before....
Last night the Master and Lawyer for our county spoke to us. I got goose bumps listening to them speak about adoptions and how the adoption day is the best day of your life... I really hope we get to experience that.....
I read somewhere that adoptive parents are like expecting parents in the fact that we are all waiting for our child to be 'born', except most biological parents have 9 months to prepare for their little one.... We don't really know when our little one will be born/come into our life... Someone else said we are all "Mommies-in-waiting".....I am trying to think that way....
That I am a 'Mommy-in-waiting'-- waiting for my little one to come in to my life.....
